The Open University has considered the Education and Training Programme from Chrysalis and assigned a credit value to the learning.  This provides an endorsement of the quality, amount and level of the learning within the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland (FHEQ)  as follows:

Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills

35 points at Undergraduate Level 1 (FHEQ Level 4/SCQF Level 7)

Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

35 points at Undergraduate Level 2 (FHEQ Level 5/SCQF Level 8)

Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy

35 points at Undergraduate Level 3 (FHEQ Level 6/SCQF Level 10)

Students receive their award from Chrysalis, and in addition can download a certificate confirming the credit award from the OU website at www.open.ac.uk/credit-rating.  Students may find this helpful if they wish to study at the OU or other higher education institutions.
